During my time at e4education, I have gained insight into the workings of a company – how each department is so different, yet they work together and communicate amongst themselves to deliver a streamlined service. I have certainly learned that communication within a company is imperative to providing a quality service to customers, as well as making office life easier for everybody! At e4education the phones are constantly ringing between departments and across the office, which makes for a lively atmosphere.

I spent time in both the Marketing and Production teams, observing their day-to-day tasks and interaction with customers. Although I worked with these teams directly, I also managed to gain a sense of the other aspects of the company, such as the designers and the sales team. I hadn’t had any experience in an office environment before and so at e4education I have had invaluable experience that has allowed me to gain confidence in my own ability. This was both in situations I was used to, such as writing and editing work, but also in skills I have not had much experience with, for example answering phone calls from customers!

I am very grateful to have had this opportunity and would like to thank everybody at e4education for making my time so enjoyable!
